Belmont offers our customers a large selection of end mills specially designed for the milling of graphite electrodes. Over the years we have researched, tested, and worked successfully with our manufacturing partners and customers to determine the best quality mills and coatings for EDM applications to extend tool life and increase material removal rates. Our mills are available in CVDD “Chemical Vapor Deposition Diamond” coated with geometry end types of burr, ball nose, square end, and corner radius.
Decatur Diamond specializes in highly engineered standard and custom made, super-hard cutting tools. Using materials such as PCD, PcBN, and CVD diamond coatings, we can provide unique solutions to complex machining issues.

These mills have optimized cutting geometry that allows for lower cutting forces, and higher feed and metal removal rates. |
