Overview:

We are seeking a skilled EDM Machine Tool Service Technician to join our team.

Qualifications:

• Possess a basic understanding of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.
• A basic understanding of the principles of electronics.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical drawings and other technical documents.
• Organized with solid time management skills.
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
• Able to research technical data using available resources.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• An effective team player who is able to work with all levels of team members as well as with all different types and levels of customers.
• Familiarity with PLC’s a plus.
• Some basic knowledge of CNC Milling machines is a plus.

Education, Experience, & Licensing:

• High School Diploma; Associates Degree in a Technical discipline is preferred or comparable military experience.
• Experience in a similar or related technical position.
• Mechanical: 1 year (Preferred)
• At least one year in a customer-facing role.
• Valid MI driver’s license with no more than 2 points on your driving record within the last 3 years.

Working Conditions:

The incumbent works primarily in a manufacturing facility where the noise level could be moderate to loud and often distracting. May occasionally work in moderately hot or cold environments. Occasionally will perform work in an office or warehouse environment.

Potential of 15-20% domestic travel if needed or desired.
